COUNTY BUILDING BY-LAWS

Sir,—Whilst thanking the Council for a courteous hearing and for their reply to our Provincial Council’s letter, I wish to make our position clear as regards the new building regulations. We are not entirely satisfied with the result. We consider that these regulations should only have applied to buildings for habitation in closely built areas. We also feel that this matter should have been placed before the ratepayers. f. We would appreciate being given a copy of the new regulations when the council gets the new standards from the standards institute! Yours etc., R. W. DUNNING,' President, Bay of Plenty SubProvince F.F.A.P.
