Whakatane W.I. Sees Demonstration

A demonstration on setting sleeves and collars was given by Mrs Barker at the monthly meeting of the Whakatane Women’s Institute on Tuesday. This was the first monthly meeting and ■it drew a good attendance. During the afternoon a sketch was presented by Mesdames King and Cantrell. Competition results:—

Cellophane hat: Mrs Zinsli 1, Mrs Barker 2. Decorated Easter egg: Mesdames Fennell and Larsen equal 1. Best dahlia: Mrs Stewart 1, Mrs Comer 2.
