HIGH SCHOOL TEAM DOES WELL AT TAURANGA
Competing well in most events, particularly in the girls’ section, the Whakatane District High School came second in the Bay of Plenty Secondary Schools athletic championships at Tauranga on Saturday. Tauranga were first with 26 h points and Whakatane next with 11| points. There were schools present also from Katikati, Te Puke, Opotiki and W aihi.
