Y.F.C. Field Day At Awakeri
The Awakeri Y.F.C. held a very interesting field day on Tuesday afternoon at Mr V. Marx’s orchard. Inspection of tffg nurious varieties of fruits was conducted, including an area in citrus trees. Plant and machinery including a Bristol Crawler Tractor was demonstrated. The general efficiency and high quality of the orchards was favourably commented by all present. The afternoon concluded with a hearty vote of thanks to Mr Marx and his son for the enjoyabe afternoon.
