Annual Meeting Of Ohope W.I.

A good attendance of members spent a busy but pleasant afternoon at the last meeting of the Ohope Women’s Institute, when the apnual rep'ort and balance sheet were received and officers elected. Finances were shown to be in a sound position.

v Officers elected: President, Mrs Thomassen; vice-president, Mrs White; secretary (pro tern), Mrs Critchley; conveners arts and crafts circle, Mesdames Porter and Campbell; committee, Mesdames Porter, Campbell, Dickson, Kerr, Pearson, Sorenson, W. Clark,'Armstrong and Miss Stewart.

A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mesdames Sorenson and Dickson for their hard work in getting the newly-formed. Institute into running order.

Mrs Dickson won the points prize for the year. * Over afternoon tea, for which Mesdames Marryatt and Campbell were hostesses, it was decided that the next meeting should be held on April 7, and the meeting of the arts and crafts circle on April 28.
