“Human Rights Day ”
“Human Rights Day” will henceforth be celebrated in the schools of Ecuador on December 10—the day on which the United Nations Gcni eral Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Ecuador is the first country to decree such an observance. Ecuadorian school children will also be taught “what the Declaration foreI shadows for the future of peoples.” i
