Nomination fees and acceptance fees will be refunded if horses not eligible. Nomination fee 10/-. Acceptances 10/-. RULES OF MEETING No. 1. Races number 2,3, 5 and 7 are for horses to be owned, trained and ridden by persons other than licensed trainers, jockeys, stablemen or persons employed in or about the management, training, or care of horses registered under the Rules of Racing. No. 2. Horses in races 2,3, 5 and 7 are to be ridden by gentlemen riders or persons eligible to hold an emergency riders certificate.
No. 3. Horses engaged in any of the races 2,3, 5 or 7 to be at least 12 weeks away from a registered training establishment immediately prior to the date of the meeting. No. 4. The Committee reserves the right to decline any nomination. No. 5. No rider for any event to be under 15 years of age. No. 6. The Committee reserves the right to alter the order of running of the events. No. 7. Winners will be re-handi-capped. No. 8. All riders take part at their own risk and the Club will be in no way liable for damage or injury to horses or equipment. No. 9. Nominations will close 4 p.m. sth April, 1949. Three starters or no second prize. Five starters or no third prize. No. 11. Riders and jockeys to wear registered colours’and where registered colours are not available white- is to be worn. No. 12.
