Nurses’ Association
At a meeting of the Whakatane Branch of the Nurses’ Association, in the St John Hall on Saturday about twenty members were present.
Mrs Le Lievre and Miss E. Armstrong agreed to attend the con-> ference to be held at Napier. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr R. Ray for offering to pack the gift parcel, which the Association sends monthly to a hospital in . London. Dr A. W. Fletcher Cole gave an interesting address on epilepsy, which proved highly instructive. Afternoon tea brought the meeting to a close. Hostesses for the day were Mesdames Brosnahan, McCorquindale and Ramson.
