Bay Executive Of W.D.F.F.

The quarterly meeting of the Bay of Plenty Provincial Executive of the W.D.F.F. was held in the County Council Chambers. In the absence of the president, the meeting was opened by Mrs Roberts, Awakeri. The secretary reported that arrangements had been made for better postal (letters) services to Murupara, also for improvement in the condition of conveniences at Whakatane.

Dates for the next conference at Wellington are July 12, 13 and 14. A silver jubilee souvenir booklet is being prepared, and photos of the outstanding features of the district are being forwarded to headquarters.

The secretary reported having written to 'the secretary of the A. and P. Association suggesting that temporary conveniences be erected for children only in the Show Grounds, and the action was approved by delegates, crash.
