Too Much Water In The Milk
Herbert C. McCready, farmer, Taneatua, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court at Whakatane yesterday to two charges of having more than the prescribed amount of water in milk that was being sent to the factory on August 17 last. He was fined £5, costs For defendant Mr B. S. Barry said that no explanation could be given as to how the water got into the milk. It certainly had not come from the milking machine.
