Rangitaiki Garden Party
A garden party held by the Rangitaiki Presbyterian Church at the home of Mr and Mrs W. B. Gow, Edgecumbe, on Thursday drew a fair attendance of members and friends. The proceeds from a collection and a bring and buy stall, which did a good trade, were in aid of the church building fund. Numerous games were provided but the shade of the many trees Was more inviting to the majority. .Following afternoon tea the Rev J. H. Starnes passed a vote of thanks to Mr and Mrs Gow for the loan of their grounds.
