The outstanding player of the game was L. Thurlow, the Edgecumbe bowler, who performed exceedingly well to take 10 wickets for 32 runs. His total for the day in both innings was 19 for 42.-The Te Teko bowler, R. Patterson, proved a worrying thorn in the side of the Edgecumbe batsmen. Six wickets fell to him for only 38 runs. Details:— Edgecumbe 90 (R. Patterson 6 for 38) and 10 (T. Anderson 43, L. Tharlow 30, R. Salvidge 23 retired) defeated Te Teko 31 (Thurlow 9' for 10) and 88. outright. i
