Miss Joanna Anderson, secretary to Mr J. Merritt, Maori Affairs supervisor at Ruatoki, has been promoted to Wellington. Mrs L. Anderson will be travelling south with her daughter.
Fireman Geo. Hunter of the Rangitaiki Volunteer Fire Brigade, is at present attending the Fire Brigade Conference which is being held at Hawera this week.
Mrs C. P. Wylde, Waimana, has returned home after attending the Women’s Institute Dominion Council meeting, which was held at Massey College, Palmerston North.
