W.I. Garden Party

Yesterday Mrs F. G. M. Sdtcliffe, Victoria Avenue, opened her home and garden to welcome members of Women’s Institutes in the Bay of Plenty Federation and their friends. Attendance was good, the garden and lawns very attractive, and delicious afternoon tea was served under the shady trees. A bring and buy stall did good business. Competition results: Ladder croquet, Mrs Parker. Taipo, Mrs Comer. Crazy golf, Mrs Hill. Nail driving and dinner, -Mrs Print. Treasure hunt, Mrs Schofield. Chain stepping, Mrs Fergusson.
