More Maternity Accommodation
Authority has been received by the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board from the Health Department to have sketch plans prepared to additions to the Whakatane maternity Annexe to accommodate another six beds. Should this prove insufficient to meet the needs of Murupara, consideration will be given to the provision of facilities in that district.
