Annual Picnic Held At Lake Rotom& On Saturday the Whakatane Rowing Club held their first annual picnic at Lake Rotoma. Atkinson; No. 2 W. Sandham, C. Ranby, G. Moore, D. Wells; No. 3 B. Cutler, S. Shapley, B. Burt, T. Stewart; No. 4 D. McCarthy, E. Hunt, M. Brown, P. Bowering; No. 5 R. King, G. Goodall, M. Whittaker, L. Goodall. First heat: Stuart’s crew beat Sandham’s by k length. Second heat: McCarthy’s crew beat Cutler’s by J length. Semi-final: King’s crew beat Stuart’s by a canvas.
