P. & T. Suffers Big Defeat Te Puke had a comfortable win over P. and T., Whakatane, in a friendly cricket matcli played at Te Puke on Monday, by 84 runs on the first innings. Whakatane batted first and made 131 runs, only two players, W. Rivsett 33 and W. Whiteside 21, making over 20. In their innings Te Puke had little trouble with the P. and T. bowling and were able to put up an easy 215 runs.
