Olympic Games For Aussie?
Melbourne’s Olympic Games Invitation Committee is leaving no stone unturned to have the Games held there in 1956. Sir Raymond Connelly, former Lord Mayor, travelled 7000 miles in Europe during his recent visit to the Olympic Games in London, presenting Melbourne’s case. He was assured a strong support from Italy’s members of the International Committee and their support, considers present Lord Mayor, Mr Disney, will tip the scales in Australia’s favour.
