Only 19 Dutch Immigrants Will Arrive This Month
Of the 100 Dutch farm immigrants scheduled to arrive in New Zealand this month only 19 are en route, according to advice received by the secretary of the Bay of Plenty Province of Federated Farmers at Tauranga, Mr E. J. Vosper. The remainder cannot now be expected until April at the earliest. The Netherlands Government was apparently unable to complete arrangements in time for the whole party to catch the ship as intended, and the next available ship will bring the remainder of the party/ Those arriving this month are going forward as follows: Auckland 4, Waikato 4, Manawatu and South Hawkes Bay 2, Taranaki 2, Taumarunui 1, Wairarapa 2, Southland 2, Westland 2.
