No Shortage Of Baling Twine Now
baling wire is now available in ample supply to meet all needs for the current hay making season. The Minister of Industries and Commerce has notified Federated Farmers that because of the increased supplies of phofmitiffi, in hand and in sight, there will be no short* tage of lines such as one-ply treat* ed baler twine for the season. Farmers have been asked to place their orders immediately.
It is also anticipated that a large tonnage of two-ply treated baler twine for use in wire balers will be available in the South Island. While one-ply twine is reported to give satisfaction for light crops, the two-ply twine is specially for use with the bulkier crops such as wheat straw.
