KEEP HEALTHY

* Care Of The Teeth Is Important

(By the 'Department of Health) To help keep those natural teeth of yours in first-class condition, visits to the dental surgeon at regular six-monthly intervals are advised. You should not wait until there is pain before deciding to visit the dental surgery. While visits to the dental surgery are essential to the keeping of the mouth in a healthy state, it must be remembered that this aspect of dental care is not everything. Care of the teeth and gums in the dental surgery must be supplemented by care of the teeth and gums at home. Unless the patient takes reasonable care of in between periodic visits to the dentist, then the chances are that his mouth will deteriorate. There are still some pepple who think that they can leave everything to, the dentist, and that once they have finished a course of treatment then they can sit back and wait until the next six months.come round before thinking of their teeth again. This attitude is not fair either to the dentist or to the patient himself.
