Death Of Locusts
The campaign against the red locusts in Central Africa achieved a victory so complete that when, recently, it was decided to carry out tests of poison-spraying of the pests from aircraft, there were not enough locusts left to make the experiments worth while. ' -
A Convention, formally establishing the International Red Locust Control Service, is to be signed by Britain, Belgium, South Africa and Southern Rhodesia.
