Students 800 Soviet Official
Students hissed, booed, and threw squibs at Mr Kremashvili, a Soviet Embassy official, in Edinburgh. Eater his train reservation to London was cancelled. He was addressing an informal reception given by the Scottish TJ.S.S.R. Society’s Soviet Friendship group. A section of the students tried to break up the meeting when Mr Kremashvili claimed that victory had been mainly due to the efforts of. the Red Army. Later, during question time, he refused to make any statement about the Berlin situation or on the' Soviet wives. At the end of the meeting, after a squib exploded, students sang “Rule Britannia!” Students also boarded his train, entered his reserved sleeper and ifauad it occupied bv a woman of
