Flying Officer A. D. Meyer, D.F.C., who has just returned from japan and is on furlough, is staying with his sister, Mrs O. J. Parsons, Gow’s Road, Edgecumbe. Mr and Mrs F. Villis (senior) of Auckland, will spend their Christmas vacation with their daughter, Mrs J. Hyland, Thornton. Mr and Mrs C. Burgess and family, of Edgecumbe,. are to spend the Christmas holiday at Takapuna, Auckland. Mr and Mrs J. Russell and two small daughters, of Claudelands, Hamilton, are visiting Ohope for the festive season. Miss Ngaire Carter, of Auckland, is to spend > the Christmas holidaywith her parents, Mr ah Mrs H. W. Carter, Edgecumbe. Mr J. B. Spiers and family .. will leave Edgecumbe shortly to take up residence at .their cottage at Lake Rotoma.
