Children’s Dancing Recital Successful

One of the best children’s dancing recitals ever staged in Whakatane was presented by the dancing school of the Misses Joan and Joyce Miller to a capacity audience in the Grand Theatre recently. The high standard of the dancing and singing showed the result of months of training done by the young performers. Music was supplied by Mrs D. Vincent and Mr Horrie Waite, who also gave some items. Mrs Vincent was also in charge of costumes. The dressers were, Mesdames C. Gordon fOhope), Benseman, D. Armstrong, J. Ross, A. Kilgour and Miss B. Miller. Mr P. Winn was Stage manager.
