Tuesday’s Meeting Successful *

(By “Shorty”) Well, we had another meeting last

Tuesday and .it was fairly successful, although lacking in officials because a number of our were attending the dinner for the Maori Bible Revision Committee at Ohope. " \ However, the two officials who were present, Messrs B. Johnson and White, did a very good job. Shot put, long jump, sprinting and relay events were held. I was pleased to see more young women along this week but we can still do with more'yet. There were also about a dozen men and a large number of school children. Now, next Tuesday it is intended to hold another, sports meeting, and then early in January - it has been decided to call a general meeting, to establish the club on a sound footing and elect officers.
