W.D.F.F. Xmas Tree At Te Teko

A Christmas tree of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers with its decorations of tinsel and presents was the centre of attention for about 60 children gathered at the Te Teko Domain, recently. The children were treated to ice cream, fruit salad and jellies, sandwiches and cakes, and soft drinks. Then the president, Mrs Thomas, in the absence of Santa Claus and assisted by Mrs Harty, gave each child a gift. This was followed by games and races, including one for the mothers.
