United Has Win Over Midlands
The United Cricket r Club, Whakatane, travelled to Tauranga on Saturday to play the Midlands Club, whom they defeated by 66 runs. The weather was hot and made play very tiring. United 188 (I. Wyatt 93; J. George 5 for 43) defeated Midlands 122 (W. Ellis 59; W. Crawford 5 for 25) by 66 runs. ! P. & T. Team Following is the P. and T. team to play Te Teko at Te Teko on Sunday: Rivett, Goile, dieland, Gillam, Seebeck, Shapley, P. Carter, Whitcher, Martin, Goodall, Kneebone, Whiteside.
