FARM REPRESENTATIVES TO SEE REHAB. LAND

The following information has just been received from the Undersecretary Department of Lands and

Survey by the Bay of Plenty Province of Federated Farmers: — “As a result of discussions between the Lands Committee of the Federated Farmers and members of the Land Settlement Board it was agreed that nominated local representatives of the Federated Farmers were to be given every facility to inspect areas acquired by the Crown for the purpose of ex-ser-vicemen settlmeent.” Local members who have been nominated by the Head Office, Federated Farmers, for the Bay of Plenty district are Mr H. S. Holmes of Opotiki and Mr S. A. Wells of Katikati. The nomination of these two men has been approved by the Land Settlement Board.
