Captain T. J. Rooney, Church Army, All Saints Church, Edgecumbe, ieft on Friday for a vacation at Dunedin.
Mr G. F. Howard, Whakatane, has passed the finals of the pharmaceutical examination held recently at Auckland. Although now a qualified chemist he has still five months to go to complete his apprenticeship.
