Shifting Tea Stains

To take tea stains out of blankets, make up a mixture of one tablespoon glycerine; half tablespoon liquid ammonia, nine tablespoons tepid water. Lay stained part over a plate, moisten with the liquid, brushing well with a soft nailbrush. Leave for 12 hours, and every now and then moisten with more liquid and brush again. Lay a folded cloth under the stain, cover with another cloth, and rub hard. Rinse and dry.
