Sunday School Tea At Edgecumbe

The Edgecumbe Presbyterian Sunday School held the annual tea last Friday. The children turned out in fine style and fully enjoyed the spread which had been prepared for them by the teachers and a willing band of helpers. Games were played on the Church .lawns until the commencement of the concert, at which there was a good attendance of parents. Several chorus and hymns were sung by the different classes, Miss B. Starnes being the accompanist. Other'entertainers were: Charlie Peters, pianoforte solo; Robin Gow, Jean L-Cirk and Allison K-vk. poem, “Child’s Prayer-”; Audee Mayo, j'anet and Jane Thomson, recitations;. Charlie Peters, Jimmie Anderson, Robert Cunningham, Jill Learning, Esina Hunter, Phyllis Woollett. and Ruth Ewen, Playet*te.
