London’s Carlton Club members are telling this one:\ After 74-years-old Winston Churchill had lunched at the club he was saying goodbye to a few friends, when the oldest member peered at the group and muttered: “Gad, I believe that’s young Churchill. I haven’t seen him since the Boer War.”
