RECORD CROWD AT THORNTON: KEEN INTEREST
A very enjoyable day'was spent at the Thornton School Galf Club Day last Thursday. There was a record number of entries and also a record crowd. Parents showed great interest in the indoor work on dis>play and also the entries in the calf section. A novel idea which proved very successful was the judging of the handling sections by Mesdames Adams, Arbuckle and Tooke, Mr Schneller assisting.
