Druids’ Card Evening
The fourth in the series of Flag 500 card evenings sponsored by the Whakatane Druids’ Lodge, was held on Monday evening in the Parish Hall. There was a good attendance of card enthusiasts. A tasty supper was served by lady members at the conclusion of the evening. Prize winners were: Mesdames Roulston, Hancock, Chapman and Hansen. Booby prizes: Mesdames Wallace, Pickles, Latham and Mr A. Cruse.
