Advertiser Seeks Ancient Seed Sower
One of the Beacon’s advertisers today seeks to find one of the old “fiddle” seed sowers as used in England, America and here in the early days. Though obsolete, these implements have not quite got to the stage where they are valuable as museum pieces, so if there'is one about this district its owner will probably be delighted to quit it.
Just what our advertiser wants with it he did not say, but he is probably the only man in New Zea land looking for such a thing today.
