Careless Driving
Driving without due care and attention cost Robert Walter Hogg, of Te Teko, who-pleaded guilty, a fine of £2, costs £1 10s, Constable R. F. Julian explained that, on the - Rotorua-Whakatane highway on October 1 Hogg was driving a car up a steep and dangerous approach to a bridge when he was dazzled by the sun and failed to see another vehicle until it was tod late to avoid a head-on collision. Correct thing would have been to stop. Hogg's wife and two children were injured. ! '
