Church Urges Action Against Communism
The Church of Scotland has issued a special report entitled “The Communist Challenge to Christian Youth” attacking the World Federation of Democratic Youth. , The report, referring to the evidence of three observers at the federation’s festival in Prague, said the “festival’s cultural and other activities were a sideshow. The federation’s real business was political action on Communist lines.” The church’s report urged the immediate formation of groups within each congregation to implement Christian action to meet the menace of communism.
