Dickens Film Banned In Malaya
Because the film of Charles Dickens “Tale of Two Cities” shows scenes of the French Revolution, it will be withdrawn from exhibition in Malaya. Between 40 and 50 films containing scenes of violence have been banned here because the censors do not think Asiatic audiences should see them “iust now.”
