Important Visitors For Ruatoki

A big day has been planned at Ruatoki on Tuesday by the Tuhoe people to welcome Mr T. Ropiha, under secretary of the Department of Maori Affairs,' and Professor W. E. Petersen of the University of Minnesota, a world-renowned scientist on dairy cow milking. They will be accompanied by other government officials. The traditional welcome of. the Maori with all its colourful ceremony will be given to the distinguished visitors. While in the district Mr Ropiha will discuss matters of vital importance to the district.
