Labourer Remanded On Assault Charge

John Irimako, labourer, was brought before Messrs C. G. Lucas and C. H. Brebner, J’s. P., in the Police Court at Whakatane on Wednesday and remanded to November 2 on a charge of assaulting Ann Sheather Irimako at the Heads on Monday. Constable R. F. Julian sought the remand on the grounds .that Police inquiries were not yet complete. Irimako was released on bail, £5.
