SQUALLY WEATHER BAFFLES BOWLERS IN WEEK-END TOURNEY
With its customary wet and squally weather, the Labour week-end was very trying for bowlers. However on the Whakatane Club’s greens two of the three days were fine enough for play although the boisterous wind made it somewhat difficult at times. Honours for the tournament held on Monday went to the team skipped by S, J. McKenzie. i
