Tawa Not To Be Used In Borough
Monday night’s meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council decided not to authorise the use of tawa for buildings of any sort within the Borough. Previously it had been decided by the Council that it would' permit the use of tawa in certain Classes of buildings if it could be borer-treated at the source of supply. Advice has since been received from the Tawa Sawmillers’ Association that such treatment cannot be carried out
