Radio Noises And Modern Living
“It seems to be a part of modern life that there should be a row going on all the time,” commented Mr L. Buddie, when yesterday’s meeting of the Hospital Board' was discussing complaints that loud radio entertainment in the hospital had been an annoyance to some patients. Mr Buddie said almost everywhere one went nowadays one heard the radio blaring out noises that were often hard on the nerves of hale, healthy citizens, let alone sick people. The Board is to investigate the possibilities of improving its radio equipment.
