“Learn To Row Week”
A good deal more than usual interest is being shown in the fbrthi coming opening of the rowing, sea--1 son at Whakatane, and, with a view* to encouraging keen recruits for the sport, the Whakatane Rowing Club has decided to conduct a “learn to royr week”, starting on Labour Day. The idea is that learners can get some preliminary coaching under I experienced rowers before the open- { ing of the season proper next month, j Indications are that recruits will be clamouring for seats in the boats. 3
