Borough's War On Noxious Weeds
Recently the spread of noxious weeds, and gorse in particular, has been a matter of serious concern to the Whakatane Borough Council, which decided on Monday night to make full use of its .legal powers to compel property owners to clear their land. For the purpose Mr S. W. Henderson has been appointed noxious weeds inspector, with instructions to serve notices where necessary and lo follow up with prosecutions if the notices . are not complied with.
