First Cricket Match
The Whakatane United Cricket Club’s opening match of the 1948-49 season will be versus Galatea 'at Galatea on Saturday and the following teami will travel:- L. -R. Spring, N. A. Carter, N. E. Rigden, F. W. Cameron, W. J. McKenzie, M. Le Pine, G. Howard, P. Howard, W. Crawford,. E. Chamberlain, W. Alexander. Transport will leave Mr Rigden’s residence at 7.30 a.m.
