New Developments In Powder Foundations
Another very important development is taking place in the beauty market now. More and more attention is being focussed on a very important part of your beauty kit—the powder foundation you use to keep your skin matt. Many women complain that they cannot find the perfect, foundation for their skin. Other women, either some stranger in the street or someone you know, know how to achieve the lovely porcelain finish; other women can conquer nose-shine and' manage to look cool and lovely through a long evening’s dancing. What is the secret? If you are looking for a new powder foundation you can choose between tinted creams especially designed- for dry skins or for greasy skins, “powdercakes,” or blends of cream and powder applied with a damp sponge which when properly handled can give the most enchanting show of colour to even indifferent complexions; “make-up sticks” which are really a lighter version of theatrical greasepaint and have all its splendid covering properties without any stickiness; and latest of all a foundation lotion that is really a liquid powder with an oily base which completely overcomes the old complaint that this kind -of preparation dried the skin. But whichever type of foundation you . choose remember to spend a little time and trouble learning how to apply it correctly.
