Alterations To Ohope Bus Times: Extra Services
Commencing next Monday, October 11, there will be certain additions to the Ohope Bus service timetable. Mondays to Fridays, in addition to the present morning buses from Ohope there will be a workers’ bus leaving the beach at 7.30 a.m. via the Gorge Road and® thence via Salonika Street to King Street, It will leave Green’s corner, King Street, for town at 7.50 a.m. The present 8.20 a.m. bus from Ohope will travel to King Street via the Gorge and Goulstone Road, and will leave Green’s corner for town at 8.45 a.m., catering for workers who start at 9 a.m. Daily from Monday to Friday, a bus will leave Anzac Avenue at 9.20 a.m. and the Rock at 9.40 a.m. for the'Heads*. The afternoon bus to the Heads will leave the Rock at 3.10, returning at 3.20. Mondays to' Thursdays inclusive, there will be an extra bus from town to Ohope at 5.45 p.m. for -the convenience of workers who cannot get away to catch the 5.10. Picture buses will run between town and Ohope Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They will leave Ohope at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays and at 6.30 on Fridays, returning after the pictures. Next week only, on account of the Regent Theatre’s early starting time, the picture buses will run half an hour early. . • The Sunday summer timetable starts from Labour Day week-end. Passengers intending to go home on the Friday night picture bus may now leave their parcels at the Para Rubber Company’s shop near the Rock, and the driver will see that they are put on the bus before shops close.—P.B.A.
