At the monthly meeting of the Awakeri Parent-Teacher Association last week, Mr Bunyan presided ovgr a fair attendance. After general business had been dealt with, the “suggestion box” was opened. This brought forth some very good ideas dealing with the school and Parent-Teacher Association. Each suggestion was discussed briefly, j Mrs Anderson then entertained with a most interesting talk on music, giving a few illustrations on the piano and violin which were very much appreciated. An enjoyable supper was dispensed by the ladies.
